Mister Vincent

It’s only when you get the chance to see Mister Vincent live do you get that feeling that its all very familiar in an uncomfortable way! (Allow me to explain…) Firstly you are rooted to the spot when the vocal lines fly at you in a stark realisation that you are about to enjoy one of the best vocalist you have heard in a long time. Next the band is so tight and with it, that room for faults left these guys’ years ago. For a musician this is where the uncomfortable bit comes in! The best bands you ever heard where like this; they have now joined your “best bands” category!
With influences as diverse as Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Counting Crows, Yes and Dream Theatre, the studio creations (two full albums worth) are intense yet melodic.
Mister Vincent formed in 1997 with the specific intention of ignoring convention, and only playing what they wanted to play. This started out as some interesting covers - from Stevie Wonder to Frank Zappa.
In the last couple of years
the band have grown tired with the material everyone else is writing, so have
turned their hands to writing, producing & performing their own material.
They have been described as the new Led Zeppelin, and this mantle does not sit
heavy on their shoulders.
