Woodbank Street Band formed for the Edinburgh Festival back in 1997 this chromatic harmonica led band have travelled and entertained in venues and street festivals in five counties. Followed by the fringe club and loads of international stages this could only have happened because they are so proficient in their mixed genre of music.

A real melting pot of styles see the Woodbank Street Band flow with reggae grooves mixed with sweet melodic jazz tunes of the 30’s blues influenced freedom rock of the 60’s funked up Latin style.

An evening on Woodbank Street is always memorable for its vibrant atmosphere and lively interaction. Nelly Furtado said “It’s great to come off stage and dance to a cool funky band” Wheatus even said “they rock!” They always give a great night because they are such good musicians.
